HGV DRIVER - CORNWALL

We are looking for a new Class 2 HGV driver to work from our busy Prolift Access depot in Roche.

Our HGV drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient delivery to and collection from our customer sites across Cornwall, Plymouth and West Devon.

You will be delivering boom and scissor lifts, and other specialist powered access equipment. The ideal candidate will already have experience in the powered access sector, and hold an IPAF PAL card.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Safe loading and unloading of powered access machinery, and secure transportation to and from depots and sites
  • Accurate checking and completion of all necessary paperwork including timesheets and collection and delivery forms
  • Offering advice and assistance to customers when needed, and liaising between customers and depot staff when required
  • Carrying out daily checks on vehicles, keeping them clean and tidy
  • Complying with all road, vehicle and safety legislation

WORKSHOP ENGINEER - RINGWOOD

Prolift Access are looking for a new engineer to join the workshop at our busy depot in Hampshire.

Working for our workshop foreman, our engineers are responsible for dealing with all the company's technical and engineering requirements for its fleet of powered access machinery as well as customer-owned machinery.

Working on scissor and boom lifts, the ideal candidate will already have experience in the powered access industry. However, candidates with other plant, agricultural or forklift engineering experience will also be considered.

The role is workshop-based. Day-to-day tasks include servicing and maintenance of powered access equipment, fault-finding and repair.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Powered access repairs on the company's hire machines and customer-owned equipment
  • Carrying out PDIs
  • Assisting with services and refurbishments
  • General workshop duties

HINKLEY POINT C SALES/PROJECT  MANAGER - SOMERSET

Prolift Access are looking for an experienced and highly motivated sales executive to manage our Hinkley Point C account.

The successful candidate will be based at the Somerset Energy Innovation Centre at Bridgwater, on the doorstep of the Hinkley C construction project.

Our new sales manager will be responsible for increasing Prolift's presence and driving sales from within the Hinkley development.

You will be tasked with creating and developing relationships across all Hinkley sites, expertly promoting Prolift's full range of services from our powered access hire and sales to our training courses.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the powered access or plant hire sectors, and a proven track record of driving sales. Key responsibilities include:

  • Generating and following up on all sales enquiries from within Hinkley Point
  • Developing customer relationships and maximising revenue from existing accounts
  • Increasing Prolift Access customer base
  • Regular visits to new and existing customers, offering proposals and quotes when required
  • Regular liaison with our depot manager, training manager and sales director

Prolift's main depot is conveniently located just a couple of junctions away off the M5. With an extensive fleet of boom lifts, scissor lifts and telehandlers, as well as being an approved IPAF and PASMA training centre, it is perfectly placed to serve Hinkley Point C.
