AREA SALES MANAGER - WELLINGTON

Prolift Access are looking for an experienced and highly motivated area sales manager to join our sales team in Somerset.

Based at our main depot in Wellington, our new ASM will be tasked with maintaining and developing Prolift's customer base across Somerset, Devon and Dorset.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in powered access or plant hire industry, and a proven track record of growing company sales figures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Generating and following up on sales enquiries
  • Developing customer relationships and maximising revenue from existing accounts
  • Increasing Prolift Access customer base
  • Regular visits to new and existing customers, offering proposals and quotes when required
  • Promoting Prolift's services and offers to new and prospective customers

HIRE DESK CONTROLLER - RINGWOOD

We are looking to employ a hire desk controller who will assist with the running of our busy depot in Ringwood.

The successful candidate will be customer-focussed and well organised with an excellent telephone manner and a strong geographical knowledge of the South West.

Our new HDC will work with the depot's manager, assistant manager and team, dealing with customer enquiries and taking orders.

Previous experience in powered access or mechanical/plant/engineering hire would be an advantage but not essential, as full training can be provided for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Taking of orders, processing and following them through to completion
  • Arranging delivery and collection of orders in accordance with customer requirements
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of the depot’s equipment for hire/sale and advising customers appropriately
  • Ensuring that all products hired to customers are safe and have been properly tested in accordance with company procedures
  • Accurate updating of the CRM system and production of appropriate internal and external paperwork

HGV DRIVER - BRISTOL

We are looking for a new Class 2 HGV driver to work from our busy Prolift Access depot in Bristol.

Our HGV drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient delivery to and collection from our customer sites across the city and surrounding areas including Bath, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.

You will be delivering boom and scissor lifts, and other specialist powered access equipment. The ideal candidate will already have experience in the powered access sector, and hold an IPAF PAL card.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Safe loading and unloading of powered access machinery, and secure transportation to and from depots and sites
  • Accurate checking and completion of all necessary paperwork including timesheets and collection and delivery forms
  • Offering advice and assistance to customers when needed, and liaising between customers and depot staff when required

Prolift Access are looking for an experienced and highly motivated sales executive to manage our Hinkley Point C account.

The successful candidate will be based at the Somerset Energy Innovation Centre at Bridgwater, on the doorstep of the Hinkley C construction project.

Our new sales manager will be responsible for increasing Prolift's presence and driving sales from within the Hinkley development.

You will be tasked with creating and developing relationships across all Hinkley sites, expertly promoting Prolift's full range of services from our powered access hire and sales to our training courses.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the powered access or plant hire sectors, and a proven track record of driving sales. Key responsibilities include:

  • Generating and following up on all sales enquiries from within Hinkley Point
  • Developing customer relationships and maximising revenue from existing accounts
